Coorparoo finished Sub-District Cricket Round 11 with two wins.
The A1s beat Brookfield United CCC by six runs at Brookfield Showgrounds. Lachlan Draper (73) top scored as Coorparoo made 9/157 in 40 overs. Draper then took 3/23, supported by Simon Fynes-Clinton (2/14) and Todd Duncan 2/30, as Brookfield was dismissed for 151 in 39.1 overs.
The B3s beat Wellington Point by five wickets at Gibson Park – oval 1 (north). Bowling first, Coorparoo dismissed Wellington Point for 112 in 31.2 overs, with Nitin Kashyap taking 4/23 and Liam Fogarty 2/18. Ross Freiberg (42) and Amandeep Thatai (30) top scored as Coorparoo (5/115) reached the target in 30.1 overs.
The C3s lost to Rochedale South by 102 runs at Indooroopilly State High School (turf). Chasing Rochedale’s 231 (Robert Guglielmi 3/26, Joe Jonathan 3/32, Luke Fitzpatrick 2/33), Coorparoo was dismissed for 129 (Jonathan 35).
Sub-District Cricket Round 12 – a return to two-day games – begins next Saturday.
