Coorparoo has made a strong start to Sub-District Cricket Round 4.

The A1s need eight more wickets to beat Peninsula at CJ Greenfield. Batting first, Coorparoo made 208 in 56 overs. Chris Dishot top scored with 70, and was supported by Jordan Lanza (28), and Aaron Trask (26). Josh Saul took 2/9 as Peninsula reached 2/34 at stumps, still 174 runs.

The B1s have a big run chase ahead against Bracken Ridge at Gibson Park (south oval). Bracken Ridge batted for 75 overs, scoring 9/258. Jakson Thiele (3/45), Todd Duncan (3/49), and Cameron Hellinga (2/42) took the bulk of the wickets.

The B3s have claimed a first innings lead against Everton DCC, Brisbane State High School. Bowling first, Coorparoo dismissed Everton for 69 (Amandeep Thatai 4/29, Simon Fynes-Clinton 3/22, Ken Parry 2/18). In reply, Coorparoo were dismissed for 71 (Nitin Kashyap 20), a lead of two runs.

The C4s are in a tight clash against Kuraby at Wynnum Memorial Park. Batting first, Coorparoo made 144 off 45 overs (Jon Sorubaraj 25, Michael McInerney 21). In reply, Kuraby reached 2/69 from 31 overs (Ross Freiberg 2/16), still 75 runs behind.

Sub-District Cricket Round 4 concludes next Saturday.
