Coorparoo had a mixed finished to Sub-District Round 6, with two first innings wins and two outright losses.
The A1s defeated Ashgrove on first innings at CJ Greenfield. Defending 3/341 declared (Jordan Lanza 145, James Howlett 104 not out, Tom Cameron 63), Coorparoo dismissed Ashgrove for 167 (Cameron Hellinga 3/27, Oliver Young 2/12, James Howlett 2/20, Kaleb Auld 2/38).
The B1s defeated Wellington Point on first innings at Wynnum Memorial Park. Defending 126 (Simon Fynes-Clinton 28, Ben Holt 24, Yeswanth Kalva 21), Coorparoo dismissed Wellington Point for 111 (Fynes-Clinton 3/24, Oliver Civil 2/4, Todd Duncan 2/14, James Collins 2/40). Leading by 15 runs, Coorparoo was dismissed for 52. Needing 68 to win, Wellington reached 6/49 (Civil 3/25, Collins 2/24).
The B3s lost to Wellington Point by seven wickets at Wynnum Memorial Park. Batting first, Coorparoo made 131 (Matthew Simmons 38, Nitin Kashyap 24). Kashyap then took 7/53 - and Liam Fogarty 2/13 – as Wellington Point made 144. Jarnail Sidhu (44) and Simmons (32) top scored as Coorparoo declared at 6/126, settling Wellington Point 114. Wellington Point (3/114) reached the target in 12 overs.
The C4s lost on first innings against Bulimba at Brisbane State High Sports Complex. Chasing 80 (Ross Freiberg 33), Bulimba declared at 7/82 (captain Marc Fidler 4/18, Jacob McInerney 2/16). Coorparoo reached 1/58 in their second innings (Pragasam Sorubaraj 27, Julian Hedditch 22).
