Coorparoo finished Sub-District Cricket Round 5 with a first innings win and two first innings losses after day two was washed out.
The A1s beat Gold Crest Cobras on first innings at Finsbury Park - Richard Ring Oval. Bowling first, Coorparoo dismissed Gold Crest for 63. Chris Dishot took 4/20 and James Collins 3/6. In reply, Coorparoo reached 5/70 (captain Ben Mably 26 not out), a lead of seven runs.
The B3s lost on first innings to Taringa Rovers at Gibson Park - oval 1 (North). Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 71. In reply, Taringa reached 3/97, a lead of 26 runs.
The C3s also lost on first innings against QLD Lions Blue at Brisbane State High Sports Complex (oval 2). Batting first, Coorparoo was dismissed for 45. In reply, the Lions reached 5/150, a lead of 105 runs. Ken Parry took 2/34.
Sub-District Cricket Round 6 begins next Saturday.
