Coorparoo finished Sub-District Cricket Round 3 with no wins.
The A1s lost on first innings to Brisbane Saints at CJ Greenfield. After Coorparoo made 113 (Oliver Civil 40), James Collins (2/20), Todd Duncan (2/24), Civil (2/32), and captain Ben Mably (2/38) took the bulk of the wickets as the Saints made 173, a lead of 60 runs.
Coorparoo was dismissed for 165 in their second innings, with Mably scoring 76 not out.
The B3s lost by eight wickets to Wellington Point at Wynnum Memorial Park. Batting first, Coorparoo made 60. Jacob McInerney took 3/45 and Liam Edwards 2/21 as Wellington Point declared at 7/130. Trailing by 70 on first innings, Coorparoo was dismissed for 108 (captain Michael McInerney 36, Charlie Wilkinson 35 not out, Edwards 20 not out). Set 39 to win, Wellington Point (2/40) won in 8.4 overs, with Jacob McInerney taking 2/22.
The C3s lost by three wickets to West Brisbane at Gibson Park (south oval). Batting first, Coorparoo made 98. Ken Parry took a five-wicket haul (5/37), supported by captain Marc Fidler (3/13) and Joe Johnathan (2/4), as Wests made 63. Leading by 35 runs, Coorparoo was dismissed for 28 in their second innings. Set 64 to win, Wests (7/64) won with three wickets in hand, with Fidler taking two wickets.
