The Coorparoo C3s lost their Sub-District Cricket semi-final against Rochedale South.
Playing at Selwyn Park, the C3s bowled first and dismissed Rochedale for 187 (Ken Parry 3/40, Liam Bulloch 2/18, Joe Jonathan 2/26, Abhishek Babu 2/30).
Coorparoo responded with 116 (Rod Taylor 33 not out, Jonathan 29, Gautham Nair 20), trailing by 71 runs.
Rochedale piled on 233 in their second innings (Luke Fitzpatrick 3/34, Jonathan 2/39), setting Coorparoo 304 to win.
Coorparoo reached 6/40 in their second innings, losing the game on first innings but avoiding an outright defeat.
